What a better way to explore a city, than through the stories of its people and places! People Place Project is hosting a writers conclave, at Shillong in an attempt to explore the city through its personal narratives. This four day conclave, from the 25th to the 28th of October, will look at writing stories for the upcoming book - 'People Called Shillong'. IMPORTANT POINTS: -Participation is free, however we have stringent application process. -We have only 10 seats for the conclave. -For all the outstation participants, accomodation will be taken care of. They will have to bear their to and fro travel expenses. -Having a passion for documenting places and writing is a MUST. -The writer will be paid for each story that will be selected to be a part of the book as per industry norms.
